Ah, Wilderness!, is a comedy play written by Eugene O’Neill that portrays a middle-class American family on July 4, 1906. The cast is a rich combination of veteran and new to theater actors.
The story revolves around the Miller family, particularly the middle son, 16-year-old Richard. As he comes of age, Richard grapples with youthful indiscretions and idealistic romance in the context of turn-of-the-century America.
One of the most well known scenes is the “Moonlit Beach Scene: wherein Richard and Muriel escape to the beach at night. They share their dreams, fears, and aspirations under the moonlight.
This calendar was created as a community service, to provide Howard County arts organizations with a place to promote their arts events and the general public with a place to find information about those events. Due to the large number of organizations posting to the calendar, the Arts Council is unable to verify event information. Please contact the event organizer to confirm dates, times, and other information.
